Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie de réassurance non vie internationale nous recherchons un Financial and business analyst senior H/F
Under the management of the Head of Actuarial and Financial Analytics, the employee will cover the following activities:

Be the point of contact of AS teams within Finance

Provide economic analyses and high-level assessment of financial impact of referred deals to support Group Finance processes ahead of underwriting, leveraging on knowledge of AS deals & of IFRS 17

The ability to analyse those deals notably from an economic and risk transfer perspective will be key and the employee will be interacting strongly with AS underwriters.

Liaise with Finance stakeholders to ensure that all impacted process owners are involved and provide their inputs in a timely manner - enabling Finance to build a consolidated view and give its signoff on referred deals before a material transaction is signed by P&C

Check overall consistency of material deals impacts in the financials once they are booked in accounts

Work closely with AS team to set up a framework which ensures that only material (depending on the size or the complexity of the transaction) and strategic group deals are referred to Finance.
In the addition to supporting and contributing to the AFA mandate, the employee is expected to actively:

Establish strong relationships with P&C Business Unit in link with performed analyses on AS deals

Develop strong collaboration with the wider Business Performance team working in an agile and transversal mode to support Business Performance framework

Establish strong working relationships with other Finance stakeholders that are impacted by the management of P&C Alternative Solution deals.
Profil:

Actuarial and Financial background are required.

Degree in Actuarial Science or Master
Minimum 10 years as an actuary with P&C background preferably in a (re)insurance entity or consulting firm; or as external auditor in the (re)insurance area.

Strong knowledge in IFRS 17

Expertise in actuarial models (pricing, reserving, internal model, economic capital,…) or in financial analysis.

Ability to present results and analysis in a clear and concise way, verbally and in writing

Prior experience on P&C structured deals would be a plus
Flexible, proactive, rigorous, the candidate shall have strong capabilities to adapt himself/herself to a challenging and demanding environment.
