Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie internationale de réassurance nous recherchons un Expert sinistres senior corporel et non corporel H/F.
To provide an efficient and effective claims service which meets the identified needs of customers and which supports the business plan by handling and coordinating to the highest technical standard claim related duties, in order to achieve for cedants and the Company the most cost effective settlement of those claims consistent with claims handling philosophy and customer focused approach.
Missions principales :

Evaluating, developing, reporting on and resolving complex and/or higher value individual claims, ensuring Head of Paris treaty Calims and Underwriters are advised of any contractual/legal issues

Approving financial transactions on claims within his/her authority

Collaborating and assisting in account management, often with other internal department representatives

Analyse loss and expense trends on loss portfolios and assist in the development and implementation of plans to improve results

Support delivery of annual audit plans, providing detailed oversight of the cedants claims processes and advised losses together with marketing support relating to clients and brokers. Attendance and participation will be required at audits/meetings, initially alongside other team members with a view to individual meetings with clients and on individual losses when determined and appropriate.

Travel will be required, including trips to clients (in France and potentially overseas), with Underwriters and other Paris based claims staff, in the implementation of auditing and marketing plans.

Anticipate client needs and expectations and deliver superior customer service

Work effectively with others within the claim department, particularly with other Claim Experts/Managers, Claims Operations and those within the Technical Accounting, to ensure prompt turnaround and response to clients

Work closely and effectively with other internal stakeholders including Underwriters and Actuarial, providing support and insight when required and appropriate

Liaise and support the claims departments in other SCOR EMEA hubs/branches as required and appropriate

Perform detailed research and analysis on individual topics, as directed by Senior Claims Management, and produce report/s detailing findings and making recommendations when required and appropriate

Assist in the analysis and reporting of large complex losses and events, including assisting in the co-ordination / production of LLNs, ensuring accuracy of advised figures especially where an accumulation of exposures has been identified

Assist in broad analysis of the claims portfolio, including monitoring of potential exposures (‘watchlist’) and reviewing appropriateness of reserves (including ‘statics’)

Monitoring and quarterly testing of ICS controls

Keep abreast of claim and industry developments/trends in order to maintain a high level of expertise

Assist in ensuring that globally aligned processes and procedures are adhered to, identifying opportunities for improvements, thereby enabling a move towards a more aligned and efficient operating environment

Demonstrate commitment for achieving team objectives and plan and adjust work activities accordingly

Profil
-
Excellent technical knowledge of legal principles, policy wordings and insurance market practice relevant to the handling and reserving of claims;

Excellent working knowledge and experience of local and exposed territories;
-
Fluent in english
-
Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
