Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, groupe international spécialisé dans la réassurance, nous recherchons un P&C analysis and reporting senior manager H/F.

As part of the Team and within the Technical Analytics & reporting team, the main responsibilities are:
- Participate to the implementation of IFRS17 (work on transition process from IFRS4 to IFRS17)
- Participate to IFRS4 and Solvency 2 technical closing (from landing throw closing to analysis & reporting),
- Ensure deadlines are met for every reporting with appropriate analysis and explanation (business rationale) of figures in the reporting provided,
- Ease the automation of the various processes,
- Participate to potential new projects involving the team

- Key duties and responsibilities

- Implementation of IFRS17 :

- Contributes to the elaboration of the opening balance sheet (transition)

- Analyse the target quarterly IFRS17 technical results (P&L and balance sheet and AoC items) (parallel runs between IFRS4 and IFRS17)

- Participate to the Management Information pack implementation including P&L, BS , detailed AoC analysis 

- As part of the financial analysis workstream , contributes to working on the target closing process

- Control data quality (from the production of the figures until communication)

- Ensure deadlines are met

-Participate to IFRS 4 and S2 specific analysis:

- Ad hoc participation on IFRS4 or S2 analysis 

- Participate to ad hoc projects or workstreams as needed 

 

PROFILE

Actuarial degree or equivalent or Master degree (or above) in Finance/Audit/Controlling from Business School with strong analytical and mathematical skills. Minimum 7-10 years in a (re)insurance company’s finance or technical department, or in a consulting / audit firm in the (re)insurance area.

Experience in P&C business

Strong expertise in results analysis/reporting 

Strong knowledge in IFRS4 and Solvency II environments

Knowledge of IFRS17 would be appreciated

Curious, flexible, rigorous, proactive, the candidate shall have strong capabilities to adapt himself/herself to a challenging and demanding environment. Ability to work in a project mode.

Expertise with IT tools (Business objects / Excel , Tableau). Some basic knowledge on R is a plus
